PSA is currently recruiting for multiple positions for Oil & Gas, Mining and Infrastructure customers.  

 

Senior Control System Engineer

 Note this role is open to Australian citizens and permanent residents only.

PSA Engineering is seeking applications from control systems engineers with project and/or operations support experience across a number of platforms and technologies. 

The PSA team is looking for engineers with a high level of competency in the Rockwell family of products (Control/Compact/GuardLogix or Factory Talk).

Additional vendor platform experience is also desirable, i.e. Schneider- ScadaPack, Citect & ClearScada, Schneider- Triconex, Honeywell- RC500, RTU2020 Honeywell- Experion, Plantscape, Scan3000, Yokogawa Stardom RTU & Centum DCS.

The salary range for this role will be $100k to $160k AUD, subject to demonstrated competency. PSA is able to provide flexible employment options such as casual, fixed term or permanent placement subject to candidate availability.

 

Instrument & Control Engineer

 Note this role is open to Australian citizens and permanent residents only.

PSA Engineering is seeking applications from Instrument and Control engineers with demonstrated experience in the following:

  • Specification of typical instrumentation in Oil & Gas, Minerals Processing and Utilities industries;
  • Specification of control (PLC and DCS) and safety system hardware;
  • Preparation of control and safety system functional design specifications;
  • Requisitioning of instrumentation and control equipment including vendor data requirements;
  • Development, review, checking of engineering specifications, drawings, lists, etc;
  • Control panel design, build, testing and production of relevant documentation;
  • Commissioning of electrical and instrumented systems.

Qualification and competency requirements:

  • Bachelor of Engineering – Electrical or Instrumentation;
  • RPEQ status or eligible to attain status within 6 months of commencement of employment;
  • Hazardous area (design and classification) competencies to AS/NZS 4671;
  • FS Eng (TÜV Rheinland) – desirable but not mandatory.
